Several diarrhoea and vomiting outbreaks have been reported to the UK Health and Security Agency (UKHSA) and local authority in recent weeks. Thank you for your vigilance and reporting of these outbreaks in a timely manner.
Early recognition of a diarrhoea and/or vomiting (D&V) outbreak amongst staff and/or the people you support, and prompt reporting is essential to implement timely and effective control measures.
If you suspect a diarrhoea and/or vomiting (D&V) outbreak in your setting, report the outbreak promptly to UKHSA.
