Small to Medium Care Business Event: Growth and assurance

HCPA hosted its first ever event created specifically for smaller businesses.
Smaller businesses have told us they want support over development, governance, and sustainability of their care business. This event touched on a range of topics that can help providers achieve this, including:
- Running a care business – how to find self-funding clients, effectively use social media and the web, advertising and linking with community.
- HR – Effective recruitment and staff retention, plus support for overseas recruitment
- Business development – How to satisfy inspectors and help if things go wrong, Business continuity, auditing quality.
- Data and Cyber protection – How to satisfy new CQC expectations over data protection and cyber risk management, inc free staff training.
- Embedding Digital Records and Systems – Including a chance to see some of the new digital care records systems in action.
- Networking opportunities
