The Purple All Stars, a group of people with learning disabilities who use creative arts to deliver health messages across Hertfordshire, have put together a great video to help promote the ‘It’s Never Too Late to be Active’ campaign. You can watch it here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=07Y8sXzO3no
An Easy Read leaflet to share information about the campaign is also available: hertfordshire.gov.uk/ntleasyread
Over 1400 people have already registered for support from the campaign, which aims to help older adults in Hertfordshire get more active, and almost 600 people have downloaded their free activity pass so that they can start feeling the benefits of moving more.
It’s Never Too Late to be Active runs until the end of July so there is still plenty of time for you to join in at www.hertfordshire.gov.uk/nevertoolate. Alternatively, you can call 01992 555627 or drop-in to your local library for help to sign up.
Share this message with friends, staff members and those who you support who may benefit from a little support to get more active.
