Dementia care and support is fundamental for all adult social care providers supporting older people. Dementia needs are continuing to grow and our sector needs to ensure that we are following up to date best practice to deliver the best quality care possible.

This session, for compliance leads and Champions,  will focus on roles and responsibilities within all care services to meet current best practice in dementia care, focused on day to day care including communication, life stories, meaningful engagement, behaviour support strategies and capacity, as well as reminding providers of the Hertfordshire Dementia Strategy.

Certificates of attendance will be offered; these are a great way for managers to evidence CPD to the CQC and local monitoring teams.
