What is Herts Good Care?
Herts Good Care is a campaign delivered by Hertfordshire Care Providers Association (HCPA) and Hertfordshire County Council (HCC). We support over 500 adult social care employers to find the right individuals for their vacancies. All vacancies we have available are based in Hertfordshire.
We look for individuals with the right caring value and attitudes to vulnerable adults, who also have a willingness to learn how to provide high quality care and support. Our goal is to find the right career path for you and put you in contact with local employers.
Adult social care is the support provided to vulnerable adults who need extra care and support. Your job in care will be to support people to maintain their independence and dignity, which can include personal care and emotional support.
In Hertfordshire alone, there is a workforce of over 34,000 people working in adult sector, and each year we are looking to find around 4,000 more people to work in care. This increased need is due to people living longer and living with more complex health conditions requiring additional care and support.
