Based on NICE’s ‘Flu vaccination: increasing uptake’ guideline, this new quality standard is aimed at commissioners, service providers, health, public health and social care practitioners, and the public. Quality statements cover areas for improvement including encouraging social care practitioners to get vaccinated and using a range of invitation methods.

Comment on NICE’s draft ‘Rehabilitation in adults with complex psychosis and related severe mental health conditions’ guideline
Let NICE know your views on their draft recommendations on organising rehabilitation services, assessment and care planning, delivering programmes and interventions, and meeting people’s care needs.
You can let them know your thoughts on issues such as:
- who should be offered a rehabilitation service
- organising the rehabilitation service (including joint commissioning by health and social care commissioners);
- improving access to rehabilitation;
- recovery-orientated rehabilitation services.

This webinar will share good practice and offer practical advice on using their guidance to improve the quality of life of people living in care homes through good oral health. It will be of interest to managers of care homes, commissioners, dentists working in care homes, and people who live in care homes, their friends and families.
The webinar will include:
- barriers to providing good oral health care to people in care homes
- taking action to improve oral health care
- collaborative working between commissioners and care home managers to ensure that good quality oral health care is available to all older people living in care homes.
