Following the second series of engagement events held with providers this autumn, Hertfordshire County Council’s Community Commissioning for Adult Disabilities has confirmed details of the final Pre-Procurement Market Engagement Events for Community Opportunities.
Consequently, they are hosting two half-day sessions on Monday, 9th December 2019 at Mid-Herts Centre for Music & Arts, Birchwood Avenue, Hatfield AL10 0PS at the following times:
- 10am – 12:30pm: This morning session will cover final details regarding the Grant process
- 1:15pm – 4:30pm: This afternoon session will cover final details regarding the Framework process
Each session will include:
- Criteria
- Funding / Hourly rates
- Current commitments (Framework only)
- How to apply
- Time frames
Tea and coffee will be provided and a light lunch will be available to those who are staying for the whole day.
Please email ACSCommissioning.Support@hertfordshire.gov.uk referencing CO Final PPME DEC 2019 (AM / PM or BOTH) to confirm your attendance or to forward any queries.
The Community Commissioning- Adult Disabilities will need to know:
- The names of those attending
- Which organisation you are from
- Which session(s) you would like to attend
Please note that spaces will be limited to two (2) representatives per organisation and this should be someone who is involved in business planning for your organisation.
The grants process will replace all current block contracts for people with needs below care act eligibility and the framework process will replace all current spot contracts for people with care act eligible needs. Providers are encouraged to attend both sessions if they are interested in providing both services levels, now or in the future.
If you currently provide community opportunity services including lunch clubs or day centres to young people, adults with disabilities or older people or are looking to provide community opportunities going forward, it is strongly advised that you attend these concluding sessions.
This is the final chance for organisations to understand the processes going forward and how Hertfordshire will be conducting business with this market in the future.
