All housing professionals are invited to a ‘Safeguarding for Housing Professionals Conference’, which is taking place on Monday 7th October 2019 at the Hertfordshire Development Centre Stevenage (9am–3:30pm). The day is being hosted by the Hertfordshire Safeguarding Adults Board and the Hertfordshire Safeguarding Children’s Partnership.
The conference is designed to support housing professionals in their roles to focus on safeguarding issues for both adults and children that they could come across when carrying out their duties.
The conference will have keynote speakers on childhood neglect, hoarding, domestic abuse and cuckooing and county lines.
The workshop themes include; mental capacity, modern slavery, early intervention, safeguarding children and safeguarding people with learning disabilities.
