24th January 2019 | Fielder Centre | Hatfield Business Park
By 2036, over 20% of Hertfordshire’s total population are expected to be aged 65 or over. The growth in the elderly population, combined with increasingly complex care needs, calls for a crucial upturn in the training and recruitment of staff in the adult social care and nursing sectors.
In order to meet our sector’s recruitment needs, Hertfordshire LEP has partnered with HCPA to host a free ‘Creative Care Career Pathways’ workshop on 24th January 2019. This is aimed at supporting employers in the adult social care and nursing sectors as part of the Good Care Month campaign running throughout January.
Delegates will have the opportunity to gain practical advice from a range of guest speakers including HCPA members who already employ apprentices, and training providers North Herts College and the University of Hertfordshire, on how to develop a successful care apprenticeship programme.
This event is for all organisations, not just those on the levy, who are interested or are considering apprenticeships within their organisation in the adult social care and nursing sector. So, come and find out how you can innovatively grow your team of dedicated professionals.
