Hertfordshire Safeguarding Adults Board (HSAB) and Hertfordshire Safeguarding Children Board (HSCB) are joining together to host the next Safeguarding Networking Forum on 12th September.
The focus of this forum is working with members of the gypsy, roma and traveller communities, and will take place at:

6 Six Hills Way
Stevenage
SG1 2FQ
The free event is suitable for Safeguarding Leads or Safeguarding Champions within any organisation, and also for anyone working with adults or children who may want to increase their understanding of safeguarding.
Spaces are limited, so please make sure that you book in advance by visiting their events webpage.
Delegates are asked to arrive at 9am to register (tea and coffee will be available) and the event is due to run until 1pm.
HSAB are also hosting a free event to launch the recently ratified guidance.
This event will begin with an introduction and welcome from the HSAB Independent Chair Liz Hanlon, followed by:
- An outline of the new guidance and the principles underlining it
- Putting the guide into practice
- Making a pledge – what can you do?
This event is available to all members of the partnership; however, there are limited spaces.
