Want to learn more about Diabetes/Frailty?
We are holding open training courses for Diabetes/Frailty, which is suitable for all Care Home Staff in the localities stated above. Training will take place between October and November 2016 within each locality.
The training will cover four modules highlighted below:
12:00 – 12:55 pm Registration, Tea, coffee, Lunch
13:00 – 13:30 Introduction – Diabetes/Frailty
13:30 – 14:30 Workshop 1 – PODIATRY
13:30 – 14:30 Workshop 2 – USING GLUCOSE METERS
REFRESHMENTS – 14:30 – 14:45
14:30 – 15:30 Workshop 3 – HYPO AND HYPER/INSULIN MANAGEMENT
14:30 – 15:30 Workshop 4 – LOOKING AFTER PEOPLE AND NUTRITION
15:30 – 16:00 Feedback/Panel Questions
