In CQC’s recent email update they referenced the new practical guidance document, created by the local government and the Social Care Ombudsman, to help care providers ensure their contracts are as clear as possible when including Funded Nursing Care (FNC) payments.
The advice from the Ombudsman is based on learnings from complaints received and identifies how to approach FNC payments to ensure that contracts reference them properly.
