Your Champion will promote, engage and support others with the use of Digital Systems and Technology, share best practice, empower staff increasing confidence and understanding, provide support for those using your services to use digital tools and embed consistent best practice across the service in managing data security.
The Champion role includes listening, mentoring, advocating and signposting, it is incorporated into a person’s main role and responsibilities, there is no need to recruit new staff members.
The Champion will support management in embedding excelled use of Digital Systems and Technology across the organisation that meet data protection and security standards. It will help you meet the standards within the Data Protraction and Security Toolkit and well as meeting NEW CQC requirements.
HCPA wants to support all CQC registered providers to add a Digital and Data Champion to their team.
