One day course at HCPA Campus
This session is for trainers who deliver to health and social care staff within or outside of their organisations.
Course content:
• HCPA – Standard of training.
• Feedback on observations, including risks and trends.
• Cultural Awareness and the impact of training.
• CPD – Safeguarding learners and international recruitment
• Network with other trainers
Learning objectives:
• Understand the level of training required to deliver effective training to staff.
• Understand the risks and trends involved in feedback from observations.
• Identify cultures of others, acknowledging differing perspectives and values.
• Apply appropriate techniques.
• Understand barriers to effective teaching and learning.
• To have an awareness of International Recruitment and groups that may support learners.
• To understand the requirements of learner safeguarding and how to differentiate between learner and adult safeguarding.
• To support with the creation of a safe learning culture.
Bookings of more than two delegates per site may be amended to allow access to all member organisations at the discretion of HCPA.
Delegates who are late may not be admitted into the training and a cost incurred.
